HØSTUTSTILLINGEN 2008

At Høstutstillingen 2008 I exhibit my two photos UNICORN ANGEL & DEVIL.

Høstutstillingen 2008 is shown at Kunstnernes Hus from the 6th September until the 5th October and then in Stavanger Kunstforening from the 15th October until the 2nd November.

"UNICORN ANGEL & DEVIL

The battle against the demons that hide in the corners of our mind. Find your own way through the labyrinth given by our ancestors and parents. Break down the barriers with the help from our guardian angels – who open up the doors to your self-realization – to become the one who you wish to be in this world."

PRECIOUS

Every where they go, he is the Master. The man asserts himself, leaving no choice... He destroys, builds without thinking of what exists around him... In this series man has disappeared. The Nature comes back, where man had destroyed it. The insects as jewellery to give them the importance they are for the balance in life.


Partout ou ils passent , il est le Maître. L'homme s'impose, sans laisser de choix..... il detruit sans ce soucier de ce qui l'entoure... Sans prendre conscience de ce qu'il detruit, de ce qu'il transforme. Il perturbe l'equilibre naturel.
Dans cette serie l'homme a disparu... La Nature reprends naturellement vie là où l'homme l'avait supprimé. Et ces insectes explorent cette maison, perdus dans cet univers qui n'est plus le leurs....
Les insectes sont traités comme des bijoux pour leur donner toute l' importance qu'ils ont dans l'equilibre de la vie.

LE LIEN ASPIRANT exposé à Oslo

Il y a quelques semaines le film "LE LIEN ASPIRANT" était exposé au CENTRE POMPIDOU (dans le cadre du festival pocket film de Paris).Cette semaine il voyage pour se retrouver présenté à Oslo au vernissage des deux artistes performeurs (Edvardsson & Berggren) qui présentaient leur nouvelle performance (jeudi 26 octobre 2006).

Some weeks has passed since the film "LE LIEN ASPIRANT" was exhibited at the POMPIDOU CENTER in Paris.This week it made a travel to Norway to find itself presented in Oslo during the vernissage of the new performance of Edvardsson & Berggren.

FESTIVAL POCKET FILM - CENTRE POMPIDOU 6-7-8 octobre 2006

LE LIEN ASPIRANT

Deux personnages évoluent dans un paysage Norvegien. Entre eux un objet incongru, un tube d’aspirateur. Celui-ci crée un lien entre les deux individus.
Autour de ce tuyau une chorégraphie se compose. Cet objet, déplacé de son contexte domestique perd sa fonction première pour devenir un objet symbolique, une sorte de prothèse reliant deux individus. Ce lien est toujours déstabilisé et à tout moment menacé de rupture…


PERFORMEURS NORVEGIENS :

Sigrid Edvardsson est danseuse moderne, chorégraphe et auteur/écrivain , elle vit et travaille à Oslo.
Arne Berggren est musicien et auteur/écrivain de nouvelles et de pièces de théâtre, il vit et travaille à Oslo.
